Catalan giants reportedly continue to seek negotiations with Liverpool’s representative in the UK in the last 48 hours ahead of the closing of the transfer market. They want to immediately complete Coutinho’s move before the transfer window closes on 31 August.

There are a number of Spanish media claiming that Jurgen Klopp’s team has finally agreed a transfer value of 160 million Euros for the Brazilian midfielder. Although a number of local British media did not justify it, and the Reds remain chuckling with his stance to defend Cou.

Speaking in Ousmane Dembele’s introduction presentation, Fernandez admits there will be a new signing before the transfer window closes.

Asked about the potential of Coutinho join Barca, he said: “We are negotiating with other players about the move and we have to keep this because there is no time in the transfer market this time,”

“We hope to present other players before the end of this month. My passion is to add one player or maybe two, if possible. I will not mention his name but I admit that the club is working on bringing in new players, ”

Fernandez also said that Azulgrana is not interested in Nice Jean Jean Seri midfielder. The negotiation process itself has ended last week, with Barca choosing to retreat from the chase.

“No, he is not our category at the moment. We are confident that he is a great player, he can do great things with our team but we have other players in his position, that is our priority right now, ”

“We’re worried about who’s in and out. We do not have much time but we are confident we will reach agreement from the many options we have, ”

“We’ve talked a lot with coach Ernesto Valverde about the players who will be brought in and who should direct this team. This Wednesday, we must be able to resolve the issue clearly. ” (Source: Sportsmole)
